What is Coaching?

Coaching is a rapidly growing field that has gained wide recognition by the legal community as an effective way to help individuals perform more effectively and achieve greater satisfaction in their personal and professional lives.
Much like a sports coach who works with athletes, I facilitate peak performance in legal professionals so that they can accomplish their personal and professional goals, no matter how high.
Whether you want to play a bigger game or simply want to find more fulfillment in your work, my job as a coach is to help you get there.
Why work with a coach?
Enlisting the support of an objective professional who will both champion and challenge you can help you achieve more than you otherwise would on your own. The momentum that is created through the coaching relationship provides the focus, energy, and accountability you need to set and achieve your goals.
How is coaching different from consulting?
Coaching is a process by which the coach helps the client to find the answers, while consulting involves providing the solutions for the client. Most importantly, coaching focuses on helping the client take the actions necessary to get the results they want.
How I coach clients
The coaching relationship is designed around your objectives as the client and is completely confidential. Focusing on your desired outcomes, an individualized program will be created and refined based on feedback throughout the coaching relationship - ensuring that you get exactly what you need.
As a coach, I will ask questions, listening to what you say - as well as to what you do not say. I will encourage and challenge you as well as present different perspectives to be considered. And help you to think more creatively in exploring the many possibilities that are available to you. I will always be honest and direct with my observations, and I will support your choices without passing judgment.
I am committed to helping my clients realize their goals, whether they are personal or professional, and I am always available to help address any new developments or issues that may arise in between coaching sessions.
